Scheduling Resources and meetings across timezones can be challenging. A timezone sensitive resource scheduling system needs to be aware of the Resource's local Timezone, the time in UTC time and the Timezone of the booking itself. WhiteSpace allows you to easily schedule across timezones with our timezone scheduiing module.

- RESOURCE SCHEDULING ACROSS TIME ZONES

WhiteSpace® simplifies the process of scheduling Resources across mutliple Timezones. This option allows you to specify each Resource's home Time Zone, as well as make bookings for multiple Resources from differing TimeZones.

At any time WhiteSpace® can detail the Start and End time of the booking in it’s original TimeZone, in the Resource’s TimeZone and in UTC time.

Typically, bookings are made for a Resource in their home TimeZone, however if you need to make bookings for multiple Resources from Multiple TimeZones, you simply specify the TimeZone in which the Booking will take place and the bookings will be made at the correct time for all parties and displayed appropriately in their TimeZone.

If you were to drag and drop a booking to a Resource in a different Time Zone, the system adjusts the booking and even publishes the booking in the user's Outlook Calendar.

The system maintains an on-line database of all world time zone rules and automatically updates itself as new rules are published by Governments around the world.
